Background

Jacqueline has worked in the Construction sector since 2004, joining John Southworth in 2017. Throughout her career, she has gained a significant working knowledge in various sectors including infrastructure, education, commercial, healthcare and residential.

With her experience, Jacqueline can work comfortably with budget constraints, clients, design teams, local authorities, subcontractors and suppliers. Her critical thinking skills allow Jacqueline to work in a positive manner, identifying the best design solutions for projects.

With the utilisation of her skills in the procurement, commercial and project management aspects of new build, refurbishment and carbon neutral schemes, Jacqueline has a proven track-record in delivering on time, on budget and to scope.

Skillset / Responsibilities

  • Staff recruitment, training and development, ensuring new and existing team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge for their roles, updating employee skillsets, recognising potential and assisting employees in achieving their goals.
  • Leading Projects, Admin and Site Teams, providing advice, guidance and direction, in alignment with business objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong business relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Knowledge and understanding of existing and new regulations, legislation and ongoing changes within the construction industry.
  • Researching and exploring new materials, techniques and innovations to drive the business forward and improve existing practices. Sharing such findings with the wider team.
  • Reviewing and assessing suitability of new and existing suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety, competence and practices align with core business policies, principles and objectives.
  • Assisting in design and buildability of Passivhaus schemes, using experience gained from training and working across numerous projects.
