Background

Mark has worked in the Construction sector for 23 years, 10 of which have been at John Southworth where his career journey began as a Project Manager.

With experience gained on numerous projects following various disciplines of construction, Mark progressed onto Contracts Director in 2015.

Utilising his skills and experience, Mark continues to manage projects within the business. Alongside this, working closely with our Health & Safety Manager, Mark ensures the training needs of staff are met in alignment with their roles/skillsets and to their highest potential.

Projects

  • Stoneygate Walk, a development for One Manchester, consisting of 21 Passive House certified timber panel houses in Openshaw, Manchester.
  • Denbigh & Heanor, a development for Irwell Valley Homes, 15 timber panel houses in Denton, Manchester.
  • Wheatfields, a development of 30 properties, consisting of 6 timber frame bungalows, 18 semi-detached timber frame houses and 6 traditional build walk-up apartments.
  • St. Helen’s Road, a refurbishment project of a commercial/residential property for Your Housing Group in Leigh, Wigan.
  • A kitchen & bathroom refurbishment project for Great Places Housing Group in Blackpool of 90 properties.
  • Retail fitouts for Primark, JD Sports & Scotts Menswear.
  • A full office fitout for Lancashire Police HQ office.
  • A full library refurbishment for Manchester Metropolitan University.
