Background

Stuart has worked in the Construction sector for 25 years, his career journey beginning with engineering, where he gained extensive experience in a variety of construction methodologies, which included concrete, steel and timber framed buildings.

With the foundation of engineering skills acquired, Stuart was able to understand construction processes and sequences. This knowledge
facilitated an informed understanding of the health and safety risks associated with each stage of a build.

Stuart’s career path changed in 2004. Utilising the knowledge, he had gained about construction processes, he further utilised his existing skills, pursuing a career in construction health and safety management.

A history in the full construction process allows Stuart to identify potential hazards and issues, keeping our sites safer.
