Skillset

Chris has worked in the Construction sector since 1992 when he began his career journey as a fully qualified Joiner, working with a variety of timbers, where he would construct bespoke counters, winder staircases and window frames. He led a team of six in this role until 2005.

Joining a maintenance company, in 2005 Chris progressed onto refurbishment of void properties, where he would organise materials and subcontractors and conduct regular quality audits ensuring the works were finished to high standards and on schedule. He continued to work in this field, on a supervisory level until 2021.

When Chris joined John Southworth in 2021, he brought with him, a wealth of skills and experience in team leadership, client liaison and working within the social housing industry, settling into his new role seamlessly.
