Paul began his career journey in 2004 as a Trainee Site Manager.

With a robust background in civil engineering and qualification in Construction Management and Engineering, Paul soon progressed to a Site Manager position. He joined John Southworth in 2023 bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role and a dedication to excellence and innovation.

Aligned with our mission to build sustainable homes for the future, Paul embraces new technologies and spearheads innovative projects, such as those incorporating air source heating and lightweight steel frame construction.

His passion for the construction industry is evident in his commitment to promoting it as a viable career choice, emphasising its potential for growth, development, and financial stability. Paul’s advocacy extends beyond his professional duties; he is deeply invested in nurturing talent and providing support to apprentices under his guidance.

  • Brigham Street, a development consisting of 4 LGSF apartments and 20 timber frame houses for One Manchester in Gorton, Manchester.
  • James Butterworth Street, a development of 15 houses for The Guinness Partnership in Rochdale, Lancashire.
  • Albert Road and Manor Place, a development of 6 high-specification properties for private ownership for WBD Ltd in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport.
  • Ribble Packaging, a warehouse extension project working directly for the company itself, increasing the storage capacity by 18,000 square feet in Oldham, Lancashire.
  • Barlow High School, a refurbishment project working directly for the school itself, on the main school building in Didsbury, Manchester.
