John Southworth and Great Places Housing Group worked collaboratively on a renovation project delivering an impressive total of 189 rooms fully refurbished for its residents.
Consisting of 38 kitchens, 122 bathrooms, 28 cloakrooms and a wet room within tenanted properties in the Blackburn area, covering Accrington, Nelson, Clitheroe and Gisburne, this project took place over the course of 41 weeks.
Visits were made to each property to obtain surveys for the components requiring replacement, following which point, rooms were designed. Further visits were then made to the residents to present and discuss their preference of components including wall tiling, units and flooring, along with the scope of works.
As all properties around the renovations were fully tenanted, the works were phased and undertaken with great care to cause minimum disruption to the occupiers and their neighbours.
