The Development
John Southworth and Onward Homes worked collaboratively on this new and exciting scheme, delivering thirty highly energy-efficient properties, consisting of 6 Traditional walk-up apartments, 6 Timber Frame bungalows and 18 Timber Frame semi-detached houses in Whitefield, Manchester. The development consists of a mixed tenure of shared ownership and affordable rent.
Located just six miles north of Manchester, the development provides easy access to the motorway network and public transport. The area also benefits from local schools, parks, shops and entertainment facilities and is close to the historic Heaton Park, catering for leisurely pursuits for all ages along with many scenic walks, making it a great place for families to live.
In addition to Manchester and its many attractions, just down the road, housed in one of Whitefield’s historical buildings is the famous Slattery, a third- generation family-run establishment to tempt with its luxury handmade chocolates, cake and bakes.
Wheatfields transformed a former derelict brownfield site with a whole new infrastructure containing much-needed, affordable homes to own and rent in the area – just in time for Christmas!
